Position paper – Draft delegated act on a Union rating scheme for data centres (EED)

The Union rating scheme introduces significant reporting requirements for data centre operators across Europe, with the stated objective to improve the sustainability of our industry.
The EUDCA has been closely engaging with European decision-makers to make the reporting scheme workable. Our feedback on the draft regulation highlights the need for a lower reporting threshold, the difficulties in reporting some of the data required – such as data traffic – and the need to take into account the specificities of the colocation model.
